To help prevent the summer learning loss that research finds detrimental to overall academic success, Summer Matters @ SCUSD offers unique free programing opportunities across multiple school and community based sites that unlock curiosity, inspire engagement, and promote leadership. Tailored to meet student needs at various grade levels, Summer Matters @ SCUSD aims to prevent summer learning loss and fight childhood obesity through thematic programs, service-learning projects, and meaningful internships.
