APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED!
All programs will include the following practices:
-Focus on Relationships: Safe space to build mutual relationships with fellow students and adults. Enrichment activities will provide opportunities of collaboration, thus building trusting relationships among peers. Staff will focus on community agreements in order to address discipline issues.
-Connecting with Families and Communities: Parent education workshops and regular check-ins with parents/guardians.
-All students will be provided with a daily breakfast and lunch as a part of the program.
-Each of the Summer Matters@SCUSD sites will serve as a Community School to allow students from ALL SCUSD schools to enroll.
-Applicants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the program.

Student Eligibility:
Summer Matters@SCUSD is for ALL SCUSD students, however below are the priority groups:
Foster Youth – All elementary and middle school foster Youth Families will receive the invite to enroll in SUMMER MATTERS programs. Foster Youth Services will be responsible for reaching out to families.
Students Experiencing Homelessness: Homeless Services will send the application link to all of their families.
English Language Learner (ELL) students.
Students on free and reduced lunch.
