Welcome to our vibrant World Market destination! Get to know the heart of our SCUSD community through these local school insights and program highlights.

July 16, 2026  from 2:00pm - 5:00pm for our World Market showcase!

Languages Spoken

Philippines, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Farsi, Mandarin, Spanish, Cantonese, French – reflecting the rich diversity of Sacramento.

What to Expect

Showing of a country through arts and crafts, traditions, and food.

Traveler's Choice

They morning time student will be learning academically. While in the afternoon students will have different enrichment block to engaged in different art and crafts, physical activities, traditions, and food exploration.

Destination Population

Over 234 K-5 students and their families participate in our Summer  Matters program.

Student Creations

Explore student projects themed around World Markets, celebrating global diversity and the vibrant impact of our programs at Sacramento City Unified School District. From hand-crafted textiles, digital story telling, to artwork celebrating their culture, our students bring learning to life.
