How do I register for the Summer Matters program?

You can register online through our secure portal or by visiting any of our 35 locations directly. Registration is open for all SCUSD families.

Are there age restrictions for the activities?

Yes, most activities are designed for students in grades K-12. However, specific programs may have different eligibility criteria, which are listed on each site.

Where are the 35 locations located?

The program spans across Sacramento, including school sites and neighborhood organization facilities. You can explore all locations on our district website.

What safety measures are in place?

We prioritize safety with trained staff, background checks, and emergency protocols at every site. Parents are welcome to visit any location during registration, and join us on field trips after completing the volunteer application process.

Can I transfer my registration to another family?

Yes, registration is transferable within the SCUSD district. Please contact our office to coordinate the transfer process.
