Summer Matters 2025@SCUSD-Middle
For current 6th-7th grade students.

24 days of programming.

The SummerMatters@SCUSD-Middle program will operate Monday through Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm from June 23 to July 25. No program on July 4.

Academic intervention and enrichment (8:00am-12:00pm) to minimize learning gaps & reduce summer learning loss.

Students will be provided with a daily breakfast, lunch and snack as a part of the program.

Each of theSummerMatters@SCUSD-Middle sites will serve as a community school to allow students from ALL SCUSD schools to enroll.
All programs will consist of the following:

Middle school participants will engage in sports camps and academic enrichment activities certificated teachers to strengthen and equip students with skills that will transition into the next grade level.

Opportunity to participate in enriching structured learning experiences and special events.

Opportunities to learn and practice cooperative and collaborative learning skills.

Opportunities to engage and work with various community learning partners.

Opportunities to learn, practice, and develop social and emotional skills.

Opportunities to engage in daily physical activity.
Only for students currently attending the 24-25 school year at SCUSD.
